According to H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo , the decison to lift the restrictions on movements in Accra and Kumasi from Monday, April 20, 2020 is backed by data.
Delivering his seventh address on the progress of the national campaign to defeat the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana, the President said that although the lockdown has been lifted the boarders will continue to be closed for two more weeks as most of the infections came from import ones.
He also said the country was not yet out of the woods and therefore asked all to continue to adhere to all health regulations given by the Ghana Health Service and WHO.
