The Northern Region has recorded two more Covid-19 cases bringing the total number to 13.
This was disclosed to reporters by the Northern Regional Director of Health Service, Dr. John B. Eleeza.
He said the new cases are male and female who have currently been sent to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for treatment. He added that the two do not have any travel history and are natives of Tamale.
The latest addition takes the total number of cases in the Northern Region to 13.
On how the two cases were detected, Dr. Eleeza mentioned that the male came to the hospital voluntarily to be screened while the female was suspected when she came to the facility.
He said “The samples were taken and tested and it came out positive”.
