Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases “Slowly Getting” To 7000 , As Country Records New Set Of Cases

Information gathered from  the Ghana Health Service indicate that Ghana’s COVID-19 case count is slowly closing to  7000 , as it recorded 131 new cases to take the country’s currently total tally to 6617.
Ghana Health Service Indicates New COVID-19 Cases

The new figures prove that the latest confirmed positives recorded from the Greater Accra, Central, Western North and Volta Regions.

81 of the 131 cases were recoded in Accra with Ga South and Korle Klottey being the areas where most of these cases were identified.

Ashanti Region recorded 22 cases, 13 were from Western Region and 10 new cases too were identified in the Central Region too.

COVID-19 Cases Increasing In The Country.

The Western North and Volta Regions recorded four (4) and one (1) nw cases respectively.

Per the new update the Ashanti Region becomes the second region to have crossed the 1000 positive cases mark after Greater Accra.

Meanwhile 27 new recoveries were also recorded taking the country’s recovery tally to 1978 with deaths still at 31.
