The Ghana Health Service has announced that the COVID-19 case count has increased to 1,279 with recoveries also rising to 134 and 10 deaths.
According to the new development the case count increased by 125 and recoveries also increasing by 14.
According to the latest Ghana Health Service update of April 24, 2020, Oti and Western North regions have now recorded cases increasing the number of regions affected by COVID-19. The virus has now extended to 12 regions out of the 16 regions of the country.
Recoveries from the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus looks to be improving although the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ghana keeps rising.
Also deaths have incresed by 1 to 10 persons so far.
